1997 MASTER NATIONAL INFORMATION
Qualification requirements for the 1997 Master National:
"Open to any Retriever or Irish Water Spaniel which, between
August 1, 1996 and July 31, 1997, acquired five (5) qualifying
scores plus MH Title in the Master Test at any AKC licensed or
member club hunting test held by a MNRC member club. Dogs which
were qualifying finalists in the 1996 Master National shall be
eligible for entry in the 1997 Master National upon acquiring
three (3) qualifying scores in the Master Test at any AKC licensed
or member club hunting test held by a MNRC member club between
August 1, 1996 and July 31, 1997."
The 1997 Master National Hunting Test will be held in Butte, Montana, hosted by the Treasure State Retriever Club. It is scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 14th and will run through the following Sunday, September 21, 1997.
