Third Series: Water Triple. Starting Dog: No. 27

The third series was a Water Triple run north of the Minnesota Iron Range Retriever Club's clubhouse, running northeast. Wind was variable but generally out of the north-northwest. Right-hand bird at 120 yards was thrown first to the right; Left-hand bird at 110 yards was thrown second to the left into cover. Middle flyer at 180 yards was shot third and to the right, hip-pocket to the right-hand bird. Left-hand guns retired to flyer station after the flyer was retrieved.

Water was incorporated in all marks, test averaging approximately seven minutes per dog. Dogs could cheat the water on the left and middle birds.

There were a few pick-ups and many handles on this test.
