1. Read guidelines for posting to the WRC Classified Ads
2. Complete and submit registration form to create username and password for posting your ads
3. You may then access the WRC Classified Ads Submission Forms and post your ads automatically

Failure to follow the guidelines below may result in the suspension or removal of the ability to place ads in the Working Retriever Central! Classified Ads.

Only registered users will be allowed post to the WRC Classified Ads. Upon registration you will be able to enter your user name and password to access the submission forms for the ads. You may then access and complete the submission forms to post your own WRC Classified Ad immediately.

E-mail addresses are posted automatically in the ad when you complete the WRC Classfied Ad Submission Form. Only ads containing e-mail addresses of registered users will be accepted.

The WRC Classified Ads are for individuals and working retriever kennels. Requests for ads from other businesses will not be accepted. The only exception to this policy will be "WRC Sponsors and Partners".

Your WRC Classified Ad will appear in this format:

• Ad Text, followed by
  
• Name(s) and email address, followed by
  
• Date and Time of posting

WRC Classified Ads should be brief and contain only the basic information any reader needs to determine his or her interest in further communication with the advertiser about the subject matter of the ad.

Please state only facts about the subject in your ad and do not include opinions or subjective or ambiguous descriptions regarding the quality of item(s), retrievers, the puppies or the parents, etc. (e.g., potential, conformation, trainability, performance). These qualities can be discussed upon further communication with a prospective buyer.

Examples of opinions or subjective or ambiguous descriptions which should not be included in your ad: "will be running...(stake level or test)...", "proven", "great ...", "doing great", "best ...", "super", "very birdy", "has terrific water entry", "handsome", "beautiful", "excellent marker", "... marking ability", "excellent ... ", "very active", "will make great ...", "excellent conformation", "good looking ...", "stylish", "athletic", "loves water", "loves to retrieve", "impressive", "hard charging", "strong", "...horsepower", "... brains", "blocky head", "otter tail", "trainable", "tractable", "calm", "people oriented", "champion bloodlines",, "pointed" ?, "hunting lines", "Dual purpose", "full of desire", "leading ... in the country", "produces ...", "animated", "high energy", "hot", "special", "quality", "National quality", etc.

DO NOT type ANY WORDS in your WRC Classified Ad in UPPERCASE except the category of your ad at the beginning.

DO NOT include references to any Home Page or Web Site Addresses (URL's) in your WRC Classified Ads. (http:/www.yourhomepage.com/)

Due to the wide variation of content found on many web sites references or hyperlinks to home pages or other web documents will NOT be included in WRC Classified Ads. The only exception to this policy will be hyperlinks to web sites or website adresses of "WRC Sponsors and Partners" To do so, the website address must be Owned and Used by the Sponsor or Partner..

Puppy Classified Ads

Use a SEPARATE WRC Ad for each litter (one litter per ad).

Complete Registered Names of both the Sire and the Dam of each litter must be included in litter ads.

FULL Hip Certification Numbers for both the Sire and Dam of each litter must be included in litter ads.

(If Sire or Dam is UNDER two years of age, advertiser must submit to Working Retriever Central a copy of the Preliminary Hips Evaluation Certificate prior to posting of litter ad.)

The Date of Birth of the litter (or approximate due date) should be included in the ads. Only litters from actual breedings should be submitted, i.e., no future "planned" breedings please.

Field titles and accomplishments that are not recognized by a national sanctioning body such as AKC, CKC, UKC/HRC, NAHRA or a national breed club will not be included in any ad due to the possible misleading nature of such information. Example: "State of ____ Duck Dog Champion", etc. (News of such accomplishments and "titles", however, will be welcomed in the Working Retriever Central! News Room!)

Dogs Appearing in Stud Ads Require: 1. Hip Certification Number AND

2. And at least ONE of these qualifications:

1. A Placement or Judges Award of Merit in an AKC-Licensed or CKC-Licensed Retriever Field Trial All-Age Stake, or
2. A Placement in an AKC-Licensed or CKC-Licensed Qualifying Stake, or
3. A minimum of Twenty Derby Points in AKC-Licensed or CKC-Licensed Derby Stakes, or
4. have an AKC, CKC, UKC/HRC, or NAHRA hunt test title from the most advanced level (stake or test) of testing by that sanctioning body (example: AKC Master Hunter title).
5. have AKC or CKC Senior Hunter title and AKC or CKC (Conformation) Championship

Frequency of posting WRC Classified Ads: Ads for the same litter or product should not be posted within ONE MONTH of the previous posting for that ad.

Ads will be reviewed periodically (as time allows) and removed if it appears they are out of date. Advertisers can and should request removal of their out of date ads.

No profanity or descriptions detrimental or offensive to any person, dog, organization or product will be allowed in WRC Classified Ads.
