Hello everybody.
I cant believe I screwed up that bad and didnt update callbacks. I will update by series at the end of this report.
Friday morning dawned cool and cloudy with a light NNWbreeze. The judges called for a land quad in the same field as Thursdays land blinds but facing east across the blind lines. The line was right on a east west gravel road with a shallow ditch backed by a low mound with bushes scattered on top. Gun 1 was approx 300 yds out in a large bay of marsh grass surounded by trees. They Threw a drake mallard to the left and back. Gun 2 was to the right and 75 yards shorter in front of bushes which formed the entrance to the bay. They threw a drake mallard left to land at the corner of the bushes and then retired. Gun 3 was to the left just at the entrance road to the field and threw a hen mallard right to land in front of trees forming left hand entrance to the bay. Gun 4 was to the right and threw a drake mallard right and back at the edge of the same treeline as retired guns Gunstation 4 was about 70 yds right of retired blinds.
Handlers viewing this test were exremely nervous as it looked quite tight. Both test dogs handled.
Dog 27 started this series and had considerable trouble However there turned out to be considerable good work on this test , in particular 31, 9 ,30, and 5. one dog picked up.

9th water blind was in campsite on a large lake with numerous islands, The line was well back on shore. line to the blind was thru cattails at the shoreline, about 75 yds swimming towards a small island with a grassy tip on the right end, accross the tip , 125 yards swimming at an angle into a long low island with a high bank. The blind was about 5 feet offshore on a floatboard., I didnt see this blind as I was planting it but heard that there were 2 really good jobs and then various degrees of success with the main hazard being the shoreline of the large island.
