November 4, 1995: Bluegrass Retriever Club. Easy - Whistlestop Saracen N by NW (IWS) - finished her JH. Her sire has his SH; her litter brother Reilly has his SH and has placements in the Derby and Qualifying stakes. She was run in the tests by both her owner and Kass Goulding. owners of all three bitches: Susan Sarracino & Robert Deihl. [12/20/95]
 

October 23, 1995: Le Super Flying Frenchman, owned by Jerry and Martha Clark of Robstown, Texas, completed his AKC Field Championshp with a 2nd place in the Open All-Age stake at the Del Bay Retriever Club's AKC-licensed field trial near Smyrna, Delaware. He won the Open All-Age stake at the Swamp Dog Retriever Club's field trial near Richlandtkown, Pennsylvania the first weekend of October. "Fly" just turned four and his sire is FC-AFC Wilderness Harley To Go. For the past two years he has been trained and handled by Dave Mosher, who with his wife Marion, own and operate Sugarfoot Kennels in Burnham, Maine. [10/24/95]

 
October 20-22, 1995: Del Bay Retriever Club - Qualifying First! Black Labrador male - Wannamaker's Wiley Willy. Willy is qualified all-age in Canada and now the U.S. and is owned by Jane Pappler of Southampton, New Jersey. [01/06/96]
October 15, 1995: Southwind Nighthawk, owned by Phil Clifton of Savannah, Georgia, placed second in the Derby stake at the Tall Pines Retriever Club's AKC-licensed field trial near Leesburg, Georgia. "Hawk" now has eleven derby points and has made the "Derby List" at less than nine months of age after placing in his first four field trials! [10/15/95]
 
October 1, 1995: Picastar Sky's the Limit! completed her NAHRA started retriever brass band qualifications in her first season, all before her first birthday! "Sky" completed 4 of 6 tests and is on her way to intermediate for the next season. Sky is the result of a very successful breeding of Blue Bill-Double or Nothin' and D'Thunder Big River Jamie and she owned by Doug Berscht of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. [10/02/95]
 
September 30, 1995: Storm's Riptide Star ("Rascal") completed his AKC Field Championship at the Middle Tennessee Amateur Retriever Club's AKC-Licensed Field Trial held near Nashville, Tennessee. Rascal, owned by Mariyln Fender and trained and handled by Mike Lardy, at age four years two months, is the first chocolate Field Champion since FC Mueller's Stormy Canada about twelve years ago and is the only chocolate AKC Field Champion in the nation. September 30. 1995: Cuyahoga Valley Golden Retriever Club. Briar - Ch Saracen Diamonds Are Forever TDX JH (IWS)- finished her JH. She is a half sister to Scoter and Colleen (above). Her sire is Ch S. Hawkeye UD JH, her grand sire Ch Yeates of Lisnabrogue MH. Both Scoter and Briar were breeder/owner-trained and handled to their titles. o: Susan Sarracino & Robert Deihl. [12/20/95]
 
September 3, 1995: Super Shotgun Black passed Lake Ontario's HRC test on August 26, 1995 which was followed by another started pass at Georgian Bay's HRC test on Sept 3 1995. Super Shotgun Black is carrying on the tradition of a fine hunting Labarador like his father, GR.HR.CH. Super Shooter of Ontario MH, and grandfather NFC-NAFC Candlewoods Super Tanker. [01/06/96]
 
August 22, 1995: Congratulations to Dual Ch & AFC Coot's Gypsy Clipper, MH who came out of retirement to win the Amateur stake at the Chesapeake National Specialty Field Trial held in Blackfoot, Idaho, Aug. 15-17. This gave Clipper the points necessary to finish his AFC. Congratulations to his handler, Linda Harger. Linda's other dogs took third and fourth in the Amateur, second in the Open and several puppy places.
 
June 24, 1995. The 1995 National Amateur Retriever Championship was won by FC-AFC Ebonstar Lean Mac, owned and handled by Sherwin Scott. The week-long annual championship stake was held near Sun Valley, Idaho.  
August 13, 1995: Mystic-Stargaze Cosmo achieved his GMHR title. He is owned by Dennis Manusco of Erie, Pennsylvania. [11/21/95]
 
August 1, 1995: The American Kennel Club, Inc. has announced that their "Electronic Media Department will provide yet another vehicle through which our customers may communicate with the AKC. Manager Lisa Mattson reported that the department will establish a web page on the Internet by September 1995, thus actively putting the AKC on the 'information superhighway'. On the web page, users will find registration information, a 'breed of the month' series, information on the Canine Health Foundation and the rescue network." [8/5/95]
 
June 18, 1995: Island View Retriever Club. Scoter - Ch Saracen's Stand and Deliver JH WC (IWS) - finished her JH. She joins her litter sister Saracen's Diamond Colleen CD JH SHR (NAHRA) WC with field titles. Through their dam they are the fifth generation of working IWS and go back to the only MH IWS in the breed. [12/20/95]
 
June 10, 1995: CH Karakul Velvet, CD WCQ JH became the second Curly Coated Retriever to earn the AKC Senior Hunter title and the first bitch to do so. Her sire is BIS winning CH Karakul Titan, ROM and her dam is CH Karakul Ultra. Calypso is owned, trained and handled by Ross Round and Cindy Caldwell. The title was completed at the Salem Retriever Trial Club near Gervais, Oregon. [9/12/95]
