Dennis Bath acquired co-ownership in ’79,’80 NAFC-FC Lawhorn’s Cadillac Mack (Mack) from Gerald Lawhorn in March of 1978. Here is what he said following he and Mack’s win at the ’79 National Amateur:
“Kim Kirkpatrick trained Mack for the first three years of his life, and had all the confidence in the world that this dog could do it.’
“In March of 1978, I talked with Gerald Lawhorn about purchasing Mack. I can only be thankful that Gerald decided he would like to be co-owners with me…’
“Mack is a fine house dog and pet. Since I brought him home he has rarely been in an outside kennel. He is very tractable and loves to train. He runs just as hard in training as he does in a trial.’
“I feel very fortunate that Mack came into my life. I am very proud to be able to have such a fine animal at my side.”
Mack accumulated 218 All-Age points during his competitive career – 80 Open and 138 Amateur.
