Del-Tone Colvin

Bred by Victor Yager and owned by Louis J. Snoeyenbos. Colvin was trained by Tony Berger of Del-Tone Kennels in St. Cloud, MN. As a young dog he was on the derby list with 16 points. A double header winner he qualified for five National Opens and three National Amateurs. The National Oens is where he experienced the most success, Winning twice in 1961 and 1963 and was a finalist in 1962. The records show a total of 111.5 Open points and 66 Amateur points. In addition to all his success was a Canadian National Win in 1964.
As a stud dog he was successful producing several field titled dogs and several show champions as well. Among the eleven titled offsping is the 1962 High point derby, FC-AFC Col-Tam Of Craignook, FC-AFC Hiwood Stormy Of Alaska, FC-AFC Rill-Shannon's Dark Dell, and FC-AFC Warpath Tuff. In addition to the six bench Champions was one Qualified All-Age and a chocolate champion. Del-Tone Colvin was a source for chocolate in many pedigrees.
