Duxbak Scooter


DOB: April 11, 1958
CFC BAKER'S JERRY x CARNMONEY MOIRA

Bred by Jack Ulrich of Saskatchewan, and initially owned by Lou Hough, Grasswood, Sask. Scooter had junior points in Canada and competed in the Canadian National Open in 1960 and 1961 under Hough. No titles had been earned prior to the purchase by Grace Lambert of Harrowby Kennels. Handler Billy Wunderlich commented, "Scooter was probably the best of all the [Harowby] dogs. He won six straight Open All-Age stakes". Qualified for six consecutive National Opens 1962-67. The best he ever did in the Nationals was completing in 9 series in 1963. Scooter's record shows 132 Open points and 8.5 Amateur points.
Records show two Field Champions, a bench CH, and a highpoint Derby dog among the offspring. Also Random Rapscallion, the dam of River Oaks Rascal, and Jilly's Tiger Lil, dam of five titled dogs. Overall he wasn't bred much.
