A male Golden retriever, King Midas Of Woodend, was owned by Edwin N. Dodge handled by F. Hogan and bred by Winnebago Kennels. His early Field Trial records shows a second in the puppy at Minnesota Field Trial Association. Followed by a first in the non-winners stake. This was followed by 3 Open wins and 2 Open 3rds for a total of 17 Open points. In addition to the Open points he had an Amateur second. His only National qualification was 1941 the year he won.
Database records show him as having offspring from three litters with none of them titled.
One of the breedinggs was to FC Patricia of Roedare.
