DOB: April 1, 1971
NFC-NAFC Super Chief x FC Marten's Black Powder Kate

Super Powder's litter was bred by James Doherty and owned by Bill and Pam Bryant. He was fith on the 1973 Derby list with 35 points and became Qualified All-Age. As a still unproven stud dog he was chosen to bred to Nakai Anny. Out of four breedings the pair had produced a NFC, a High point derby, and a total of nine titled dogs. After the these litters Super Powder was proven as a stud dog. His record as a sire totaled 36 FC'S, 2 NFC'S, and a NAFC. He was Qualified All-Age and he was somewhat casually trained. Super Powder did not have a great trial record but as a sire he was in demand. History has shown his offspring were a good cross with Honcho lines.
